DAY 1 - ARRIVE AUCKLAND
You will be welcomed by a representative of SOUTHERN CROSS VACATIONS and
transferred by chauffeur-driven limousine or luxury motor vehicle to THE
HYATT REGENCY/ STAMFORD PLAZA for your overnight stay. In the afternoon,
an informative and relaxing luncheon cruise on beautiful Waitemata Harbour
and Hauraki Gulf has been scheduled. Afterward, you will enjoy a private
sightseeing tour of Auckland, "The city of Sails". In the evening, we
would be happy to arrange for you to dine at an exclusive local restaurant.
DAY 2 - TO TAUPO
This morning, you will be collected from your hotel for your full day
journey by private vehicle to the Taupo region. The drive will take you
through the lush Waikato farmlands and the rugged King Country, Lunch
will be taken enroute at a specially selected site and a visit will be
made to the famed Waitomo Glowworm Caves before a late afternoon arrival
at exclusive HUKA LODGE, MURIAROHA or TeMOENGA in time for dinner and
cocktails. All breakfasts and dinners are included during your stay and
HUKA LODGE, New Zealand's finest sporting lodge, world's apart near beautiful
Lake Taupo, MURIAROHA LODGE, a magnificent country property offering private
thermal spas ensuite in the heart of historic Rotorua or TeMOENGA, a delightful
private farmstay overlooking the Western Bays of Lake Taupo.
 DAY
3
A private full day tour of the thermal wonderland of ROTORUA will provide
an insight into the rich and fascinating culture of the Maori people,
the original New Zealanders. Included today are visits to the Waiotapu
Thermal Park, Rainbow & Fairy Springs, Agrodome and the Maori Arts & Crafts
Institute.
DAY 4
You will be transferred to Rotorua Airport for your short flight to QUEENSTOWN.
On arrival, you will be transferred to NUGGET POINT RESORT for your 3-night
stay in an exclusive suite with spectacular views of the Shotover River.
DAY 5 - QUEENSTOWN
Is an all year-round action-packed holiday dream. Today, SOUTHERN CROSS
VACATIONS has planned an exciting half-day private sightseeing tour of
Queenstown, which will include a thrilling jet boat ride on the Shotover
River, a 15-minute scenic helicopter flight to Bob's Peak, and a gondola
ride down from the mountain.
DAY 6
Today you will travel by private car to MILFORD SOUND , often referred
to as the 8th Wonder of the World. Your scenic drive will take you through
remarkable vistas before beginning an unforgettable cruise on the fjord-like
sound. After a delicious lobster lunch, you will return to QUEENSTOWN
by way of what is considered by many to be the world's most spectacular
scenic flight.
 DAY
7 - TO CHRISTCHURCH
This morning you will be collected from your hotel and driven by private
vehicle to MOUNT COOK where you will enjoy a sumptuous lunch at the famed
Hermitage Hotel. A spectacular skiplane flight over the Southern Alps
with a glacier landing available if you desire. You will then be transferred
to the airport. On arrival in Christchurch you will be transferred to
THE GEORGE for your overnight stay.
In the evening experience the friendly hospitality of local New Zealanders
at a home-hosted "farewell" dinner.
DAY 8
In the morning, you will enjoy a private sightseeing tour of the "Garden
City" before being transferred to the airport for your outbound flight
